Huawei S6720S-S36S16X-A is a Standard 10 Gigabit Ethernet Switch with 36*Gigabit SFP ports, 16*10-Gigabit SFP ports, and built-in AC power supply (front) launched for the campus network market. It supports a wide range of service features, comprehensive security control strategies, and rich QoS characteristics. S6720S-S series adopt a front power supply design, with a total depth of only 220mm. This design allows for high-density gigabit/10-gigabit optical access interfaces to be widely deployed in aggregation or core layers of campus networks, as well as in small data center access scenarios. Moreover, this series enhances the traditional STP/RSTP/MSTP spanning tree, supporting multi-process MSTP, which significantly increases the number of access ring instances. It also supports enhanced Ethernet technologies such as Smartlink and RRPP, allowing for millisecond-level link protection and switching, ensuring high reliability of network quality. Additionally, multi-instance functionality is provided for both Smartlink and RRPP, enabling link load sharing and further improving link bandwidth utilization.
